Justice for >17000 Tigrayan former members of the Ethiopian Defense Forces (ENDF) & their families.

The international humanitarian agencies including ICRC, UNHRC, and HRW need to visit former Tigrayan ENDF and UN peacekeeping mission members that were rounded up and detained by the Ethiopian government since the start of the war on Tigray on November 04, 2020. It’s important to verify that their fundamental human rights are not violated by the Ethiopian kangaroo courts and police. Today, court-martial and death sentence has been announced on Ethiopian state media against these people which is tantamount to declaring genocide in the pretext of treason. It’s unacceptable. These Tigrayan soldiers had served honorably for decades but they are being prosecuted for their ethnic identity. The court action should urgently be condemned and stopped. These former military personnel should be released immediately!
